Cannot find Close Database under the File menu due to renamed to Close.
Cause:
The 'Close Database' command has been renamed to the 'Close' command. The shortcut key has also been changed to CTR+W.
Solution:
To close a database in Access 7.0, activate the Database Window of the desired database, select the 'File' menu, and select 'Close'.
1) Activate the Database Window of the desired database:
a) Select the 'Window' menu.
b) Select the name of the database. (The Database Window displays on top of all other objects.)
NOTE: The Database Window has to be active to close a database. Otherwise, only the active object of a database, such as a form or report, will be closed.
2) Select the 'File' menu and select 'Close'.
